I teach Dru yoga near Exeter in Devon, UK. I incorporate some elements of Hatha and Vini yoga, and I use gentle music throughout the class to create a gentle, meditative atmosphere.
My teaching emphasises breath-work, spinal alignment techniques and gentle flowing movements to bring a sense of space and freedom to the body as a whole.
My classes in Devon are available to people of all ages and abilities. I encourage each student to develop a personal relationship with yoga to help get the best out of their practice. My approach is gentle, sensitive and at the same time, allows the student to progress at his/her own pace. This helps to develop their own personal style, movement and rhythm.
Speaking for myself, each week I continue to expand upon, develop and share my love and understanding of yoga alongside each yoga student. It is an ongoing learning experience which can be very rewarding, fulfilling and, most important of all, it is great fun to do.
